Mass mix
Massmix is an innovative para-pictorial project, negating artistic individualism in favour of group work and free flowing of inspiration between the participants. It all starts with a bank of prefabricated sample elements, to which every participant contributes. The elements are designed in graphical programmes, assembled on sheets, and finally cut out with a plotter or by hand from self adhesive foil. Then they are used as building parts for unpredictable, improvised compositions. Massmix collages may be created on existing paintings, walls or any other objects. Because the number of participants is unlimited and the process always unleashes loads of creative energy, Massmix is perfect to be organized as open workshops. It's also great fun for children. The project is originally animated by seven persons strong collective body, although on each stage we invite guests, search new inspirations, heading for as open form as possible.
